I Know You Guys Are Just Bothering Me Because I Decided to Make a Secret Account Where I Submit Stuff to Not Get Pestered by You and Although Most of 400+ Releases Submitted by That Account Are Done 100% Correctly There Are Some With Missing Bitrate And/Or Non-Capitalized Titles That Very Rarely Ever Get Comments to Fix It or How It Will Be Removed or It Has Been Removed and I Don't Submit Non-Capitalized Stuff Being Lazy I Enter It in That Way Because That's How It Is on the Release and I Have Seen Releases on Discogs With Titles That Are Incorrectly Capitalized That Are Categorized as Correct Such as http://www.discogs.com/Autechre-Exai/master/519732 and http://www.discogs.com/Autechre-Quaristice/master/2472

Step One Look at the Info Sometimes People Post a Download Link There. Step Two If Step One Had No Results Go to the Label's Discogs Page. You Can Get to This by Clicking the Words That Appear After "Label :" This Is Located at the Top Right Under the Artist and Release Name. Now That You Are on the Label's Discogs Page Look Right Underneath the Info Which Is Located at the Top. You Will Possibly Find a Link Behind the Part That Says "Sites :" and Make Sure to Click the Link. You Do Know How to Click Right? Press Your Index Finger on the Left Key of Your Mouse or Touch Pad, See You're Learning So Fast! The Link You Clicked Will Bring You to the Label's Website. Examine the Page You Are Brought to and Navigate Your Way to the Releases. Then Search for the Release You Want to Find Using the Artist Name, Album Name, and Catalog Number Will Make This Very Easy

Well I think these kind of releases look stupid sitting alongside real music on a database which is supposed to be a serious source of information for collectors & music freaks. I mean its not even proper music and IMO doesn't deserve to be catalogued the way other stuff is.

The fact is that noise is the easiest form of music to create if you want to release something with ridiculous titles or ones that insult people. The submitter in question clearly was not interested in creating music as much as trolling and making random noise was the easiest way achieve his goal. Unfortunately in most cases involving trolling/insulting"/ridiculing discogs this is also true.

I've always been for the removal of the discogs fascists release. I'm not so sure about removing the whole label though. The one thing I would say is that a lot of the releases have silly titles (e.g. Sword Fish Boards Taste Like Milk, Beethoven Dat Shit, White Supremacists Secretly Love That Big Black Booty ) and I can't help wondering if they were created to be listened to or just to make some stupid point through the release/track titles. It's hard to say though since I haven't actually listened to any of them. Maybe they are musical masterpieces although I somehow doubt it.

I am so tempted to sample one of my really loud belches right now, stick it in an audio file upload it to a P2P site and call it something ridiculous and submit it here. Im guessing since a "release is a release" and the content does not matter it would be perfectly valid. I could call myself Bollox Shit and call my label Rubbish Junk. I mean seriously that would probably count as valid audio according to some of the comments here. Hell I could call the release 'This Is Me Trolling Discogs' and it would probably still be acceptable to some people.

Not to your taste? I doubt it would be to anyone's taste (unless they have some weird belch fetish). Anyway I wouldn't do that because Im not as immature as the original submitter and have no interest in trolling discogs.

Having listened to the actual release I can confirm that it is utter garbage. Not being a fan of noise though im not sure whether that's how its meant to sound. Either way it's clear there wasn't much effort put into the music.

The issue (once again) is not the fact that it mocked discogs; it was the fact that it appears to have been solely released to troll with the ridiculously long track titles rather than to be listened to. That begs the question as to whether it qualifies as a genuine musical release. Some people argue that it deserves to be here because it contains audio. Others, like myself, argue that because the focus is the track titles & release notes and there was very little (if any) effort put into the 'music' it is not a valid release for the DB. FWIW in the info text file with the release he states "So people on Discogs continually bother me even when I don't do anything wrong or just make a few mistakes so here's a new release back to Ninja McTits roots, trolling."

Surely there has to come a point where a release is not acceptable here? Are we seriously going to become a dumping ground for sh*te other sites wouldn't accept? This kind of stuff wouldn't be let next nor near Rate Your Music, Allmusic or any other online cataloguing site. It makes a mockery of what constitutes an audio release. If something is not meant to be listened to then it shouldn't be on here.

Did you actually listen to 200 Files From My Computer Converted Into Sound? I listened to 3 or 4 tracks and they were 2 to 3 seconds of high pitched, annoying static. Im not a fan of U2 at all but I would listen to their new album over this any day of the week. At least it contains music (even if its not my kind of music).
